The District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and consists of 87 structures. Beautifully restored 1880's brick and red sandstone buildings make this one of the most historic miles in the West. Imagine the hustle and bustle of commerce, trolleys and horse-drawn carriages over 100 years ago.

Turn right on West B Street, to see the impressive Union Depot. It was completed in 1889 for $4.00. The interior of the Rhoemanesque Revival-style building contmaoisnasic tile flooring, stained glass windows and hardwood wainscoting.

Today, the Depot and other historic buildings house apartments, restaurants, shops and galleries. You can pick up a Walking Tour brochure at the El Pueblo Museum or from merchants along the Avenue.
